NENDO SERIES
Shaping with your hands has a quality all its own. Shaping with the mouse cursor too! Intuitive computer modeling led to this limited series of different views of a three-dimensional object.
For this purpose, different perspectives of the same basic geometry were first colored. The subsequent translation from digital to analog was done with the help of a risograph. The series was named after one of my design idols – the Japanese Studio Nendo.
In the risography process, the five views are each run through the printer four times (once per CMYK base color). The resulting prints are limited edition soybean oil-based fine art prints printed on Munken Lynx Pure paper, 240g/m2.
